Diesel Engines

Shown here is a fuel system for a diesel engine.   The racor dual filter set up allows for a filter change while the motor is running.   Two fuel tanks with one empty allows for complete polishing of the fuel from one tank to the other.    A Walbro pump transfers the fuel while polishing but also allows for easy priming of the engine.   The Walbro pump is a pass through pump - the pump passes fuel through it without having to run.

This is the setup I recommend for all cruising boats.
