DESCRIPTION:  Mars Permanent Magnet Brushless DC motor, Sevcon controller, Emerson Reduction Gear,  4 Odyssey PC 2250 - 126 a.h. batteries, coupling, throttle, control circuit wiring harness, contactor, battery gage with hour meter and fuse holder.

DIESEL GENSET:   Polar Power 6 KW Diesel Genset on Volvo Penta motor.

Long distance cruisers require a lot of energy for their house and for propulsion.       Polar Power's smallest DC genset charges batteries at 5,000 watts.    That is 5 times faster than an AC genset with 100 amp battery charger or typical 100 amp alternator.
