Blue Sea Panels This system is installed on Kapowai. The panels on the left are wired at both 12 volts and 24 volts DC. A 24 volt appliance is always more efficient than a 12 volt appliance because there is less amperage draw. Additionally you can use smaller wires at 24 volts. The panel on the right is the shorepower panel wired at 110 volts AC.
